Brief summary: This study will assess the safety and efficacy of adding MabThera to chemotherapy as first-line treatment for patients with diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin`s lymphoma. The anticipated time on study treatment is 2+ years and the target sample size is 500+ individuals. Target sample size is 820.

Inclusion criteria:

  • adult patients 18-60 years of age;
  • untreated CD20-positive diffuse large B-cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma.

Exclusion criteria:

  • participation in another clinical trial during the last 12 weeks;
  • secondary lymphoma after previous chemotherapy or radiotherapy for other malignancies;
  • previous lymphoma-specific treatment;
  • women who are pregnant or lactating;
  • women of childbearing potential who are not using reliable contraception.
